While sometimes while dealing with depression along with therapy medication becomes a necessity but just like any other medicine, antidepressants too, have its fair share of side effects.

If you're being treated for depression (moderate or severe) there are chances that a doctor has to prescribe an antidepressant for you. 

Antidepressants work by altering the balance of certain chemicals in your brain and while they help relieve symptoms and may be necessary, they do come with some side effects. 

However, it is important to note that not every person will experience side effects or if they do, they will not experience the same side effects.
